The Biggest Enemy Of Happiness!

The biggest enemy of happiness is accomplishment.
It sounds crazy, right? How can accomplishment, something we’re all chasing, be the enemy of happiness?
Here’s why:
Happiness is not an emotion.
It’s not something that just shows up when things go right.
Happiness is actually an action.
Happiness is the overcoming of barriers. It's climbing the mountain successfully, it's not about getting to the top.
When you get to the top, you won't be happy anymore because you have no purpose.

A man without purpose is like a car without fuel. Useless.
When you finally accomplish something, the barrier is gone.
Without barriers… there's nothing to overcome.
No purpose. No push. No reason to act.
That’s when happiness disappears.
People will do the most amazing thing because they have a purpose. The size and the barriers are not important.
They will overcome any barrier and for them, there will be endless amount of possibilities.
But, the moment that you overcome the barriers, when you've achieved something, you'll see that you lost everything.
Why? Because happiness is this overcoming of barriers, and once you achieve something, there's nothing to go for. That's it!

You’ve probably seen it:
Some of the most miserable people are the ones who “have it all.”
Wealthy families.
Kids born into rich families.
People with everything, yet deeply unhappy.
Why?
Now, I'm not saying that everyone needs to be poor.
No, I'm saying that, it's okay to be rich but you need a purpose.
You need barriers.
You need something to overcome.
Love barriers.
Not “problems” because a problem is something you think you can’t overcome. But a barrier is something you believe you can overcome and when you overcome it, you feel alive and happy.
So, you need those problems that you think that you can overcome.
Most people want no barriers in their lives and so they are not happy. If you want to be happy you need to look for barriers.

Going to the gym when you don’t feel like it? That’s a barrier.
Saying yes to an invitation when you feel tired? That’s a barrier.
Pushing forward in your career when you’d rather quit? That’s a barrier.
Each time you overcome one, you grow. You get stronger. You get happier.
So happiness is the result of action.
It's not an emotion.
It is the manifestation of overcoming a barrier.
Once you understand that fully, you'll understand that in order to overcome barriers, you need to act.
The enemy of happiness, the enemy of action, is when you've already achieved something.
Happiness is prerequisite for income. So, if you want to be happy and rich, what you need to do is love your barriers.
Just look for them and take on and on, more and more barriers, and overcome them.
Everything will be fine for you. Everything will be okay for you, if you do that.
